ACSI (I) Best Dermatosurgery Thesis Award 2024 Announcement
1. Eligibility: Postgraduates who have cleared the exam in the preceding 2 years are eligible (Ex.: For ACSICON 2024, PGs who cleared in 2022 and 2023 will be eligible). The thesis topic should be on cutaneous surgery.
2. The postgraduate has to be Provisional or Life Member (PLM/ LM) of ACS(I) and the guide a Life Member of ACS(I). ACS(I) membership should be mentioned in the application.
3. The application has to be forwarded by the Guide of the postgraduate. Only one candidate per Guide will be considered per conference.
4. It will be mandatory for the postgraduate to herself/ himself present the paper and pre- register for ACSICON 2024.
5. The abstract will have to be submitted with a maximum word count of 300. Novelty of the research topic and research methodology shall be given priority in the evaluation.
6. The applicant, guide and co-guide have to give an undertaking that the proposed thesis is their original study plan and there are no conflicts of interest. This has to be submitted with the abstract. If any contrary evidence is available at a later date, it will entail cancellation
of the participation of that candidate or withdrawal of the prize (as applicable).
6. The information about selection to the successful candidates for this session will be forwarded d to the applicants before the conference by the Honorary Secretary General.
7. The presentation will be for 7 minutes followed by question/s by the judges.
8. The award will be given to both the Guide and the postgraduate. A cash prize along with a certificate will be given to one winner after the candidate submits the work to JCAS for publication n.

Only Life Members of ACS(I) are eligible to apply.
The age of the applicant should be less than 45 years.
The applicant should hold a MCI recognized post- graduate qualification in Dermatology. The applicant should register themselves for ACSICON 2024.
The blinded evaluation and final selection will be done by a Jury.
The announcement of the selected candidate will be communicated by the Honorary Secretary General before the conference.
The award will be presented by the President of ACS(I) during the inauguration ceremony of ACSICON 2024.
The award consists of a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-, a memento and a certificate.

5. Step by step, labeled approach is preferrable.
6. The video should be edited to show only the key steps.
7. The screen settings are preferably to be maintained in ratio of 4:3 (4 units width to 3 units height) as opposed to wide screen aspect ratio of 16:9.
8. Before and after images of the procedure to be added at the end wherever applicable. Audio and text slides can also be incorporated if needed keeping the flow of the video intact

1. Both team members must have ACS(I) PLM numbers.
2. They should be PG residents at the time of quiz finals (August/September 2024).
3. Any number of teams per college can participate in the nationwide online screening test. The ADQ 2024 nationwide online screening test will be conducted on 14th July 2024.
4. The top 8 teams will qualify for the national prelims at ACSICON 2024.
5. Only a maximum of two teams per college will be permitted to participate at the national prelims.
5. The top 8 teams will be provided complimentary registration to the conference.
6. The top four teams from the preliminary round will qualify for the grand finale, which will be a plenary event.
6. The last date for submitting this form is 17th June 2024.
7. Forms sent after the last date will not be accepted.

Greetings Dear ACSI members;
Greeting;
We all are eagerly awaiting the first ACSI Gurukul . The finalized dates are 18, 19 May 2024 and it's to be held at Goa. Gurukul is going to be a residential only 2 day program aimed at dealing in depth via a multipronged approach to our common clinical ,dermatosurgery and aesthetic dilemmas. we'll soon be making the website and registration live for the program.
Limited 450/500 registrations only will be available as it's a single hall program and is going to be focused learning program.
we'd soon be inviting the delegates cases as they would be extensively discussed during relevant sections of program. So please search and save the cases and dive in to get your complicated cases and confusions resolved.
